Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Training Modules

Led a team of five chapter leaders to create a framework for action, and creating a curriculum for equity, diversity, equity and inclusion. Developed and designed one-pagers for five priorities:

  1. Before You Get Started - Working with an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Lens
  2. Making the case for EDI to your board
  3. Growing diverse and inclusive leadership
  4. Ensuring programming and events are diverse and inclusive
  5. Growing a diverse and inclusive membership

Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy

EPIP Chicago Social Justice Philanthropy Program

As a founding steering committee member of the Chicago chapter of Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, I co-developed our first slate of programming, focusing on social justice philanthropy.

  • Meet and Greet with Edgar Villanueva, a Marguerite Casey program officer came to talk about social justice philanthropy.

  • A YNPN-EPIP collaboration program on bridging philanthropy and nonprofits.

  • A discussion on democratic philanthropy led by Christine Reeves from Center for Effective Philanthropy and Regina McGraw from the Wieboldt foundation.

  • A session on public policy and philanthropy with Doug Schenkelberg.
